The Sioux River Folk Festival is the first weekend of August in Newton Hills State Park.
Newton Hills State Park is comprised of over 840 densely wooded acres. The oak covered hills provide an ideal environment for a wide variety of plants and animals. Located six miles south of Canton, South Dakota the park offers visitors a 123 unit campground with electrical hookups, modern comfort stations with hot showers and camping cabins.
